This year, a 3-year-old is signed up for the one mile fun run at Mud Mountain XIV. That will make Ellie Hughes the youngest runner in the history of the event. The oldest runner entered so far in the 5K is a 75-year-old Fenton, Missouri woman. Runners from five states (Illinois, Missouri, Colorado, Oklahoma and Louisana) have signed up. One family (the Laurents) will enter nine runners. Eight runners are over the age of 60. Eleven 5K runners are under the age of 12.
